First ever Run Show South a runaway success

Runners from across the UK flocked to the first ever National Running Show South at Farnborough International (11-12 September) to hear from the biggest names in running and reunite as a community after a 20-month hiatus due to Covid19.

Speakers including Dame Kelly Holmes, Roger Black, Vassos Alexander, Nell McAndrew and Iwan Thomas led an all-star line-up across the Inspiration Stage, Running Skills Theatre and Ultra Stage at the two-day event. Thousands of visitors attended the event, making the most of face-to-face expertise from leading industry professionals and interactive features to finesse their running style and push their limits. The event provided a first class retail experience with brands including Hoka ONE ONE, Runners Need, Salomon, New Balance, On Running, Pulseroll and many more in attendance.

Features included an Ultra Zone with Bad Boy Running, Rough Runner Travellator, Bra Fitting Bar from Runderwear, Events Village powered by Race Nation, Gait Analysis feature from 8th Element, Trail Running Zone from We Run Trail, The Run Clinic from the Movement and Running School, Pace Yourself feature from Xempo and Pace Pockets, All Terrain Running Zone from Run the Wild, Chill Out Zone from Crystal Ski, Pilates Zone from Pilates for Runners, Wellness Zone from Mind Over Mountains, Kid’s Zone from Marathon Kids, Pushchair Running Track from Cybex,  Rerun Recycling stand and a Run Café sponsored by Runderwear.

The next instalment in the National Running Show portfolio will take place at the NEC in Birmingham 22-23 January 2022.
