National Running Show sign on Jamie Ramsay, plus new exhibitors and partners

It’s been a bumper month for the National Running Show, as we have signed on a new speaker as well as a bunch of new exhibitors and partners!

Firstly, we’re delighted to announce Jamie Ramsay as a new addition to our Speaker panel! Adventure and Endurance have always been a big part of Jamie’s life. After completing his first Marathon in Stockholm in 2004 he went on to do a marathon in the Lewa Safari Park, Kenya, the Wimbleball 70.3 Ironman and various openwater swims. In 2013, Jamie spent a week running 240km through Vietnam for the STV Appeal which raises money to combat poverty in Scotland.

We’re also thrilled to be joined by 6 more exhibitors:

Running Memories provide eye catching and sturdy displays at affordable prices for all levels of athletes. “We all know how hard we work to obtain our finishers medal, hours of tough training; focusing on that one event to achieve our goal. When you cross that finish line what do you have to show for it? A medal of success. So what do you do with your medal? It’s time to empty that drawer, stop using the old coat hanger or door hook and present your achievements with pride on a Running Memories display.”

SBR Events are a sports event management organisation based in the East Midlands. “We organise fun & friendly well managed events to make everyone feel special. We understand the events as we participate ourselves & we create amazing bespoke ‘BLING’ to ensure everyone can celebrate their achievement across the finish line – no matter what the finish time might be! Our events include runs; family friendly 5k, 10k, 10mile, 13.1, 26.2 & 60k ultra plus triathlons, duathlons & (new for 2017) aquathlons! We are really looking forward to meeting new athletes at The National Running Show as we love to create happy memories.”

Big Bobble Hats are manufacturers of unique bobble hats ideal for keeping you warm while running! “Tired of all the same old Ski Beanies? Be original and get yourself a Big Bobble Hat! We want all our customers to stand out, be bold, be bright and be seen. So why not show off your ‘Mojo’ with a big bobble hat. Don’t forget – be bold, be bright, be seen!”

Rocktape is a premium brand of kinesiology tape. First used by acupuncturists and chiropractors in Japan, today kinesiology tape is used by a wide variety of health professionals throughout the world to treat injuries and pain. Unlike traditional athletic tape that binds and doesn’t stretch, RockTape is engineered to mimic the human skin. This stretchiness is the secret behind RockTape. RockTape stretches up to 180% of its original length but has amazing ‘snap-back’ or recovery. This is what gives RockTape its performance advantage over other tapes.
