What I lack in running talent I certainly make up in enthusiasm for the sport!
I caught the running bug when I started in university as a way of dealing with the negative effects of long work hours, bad body image and being a massive introvert. Ever since, I have been an advocate for the benefits of running on mental health and am an ambassador for the community it creates.
I am currently working on a campaign to fight street harassment, which many runners fall victim to, and hope to bring an end to it so we can all feel safe on the streets.
In 2020 I had planned to run, self supported, the length of the South West Coast Path, time will tell how that will go…
