I only started my fitness journey around 3 years ago, I’ve gone from a gym member who paid feeds and never turned up; to Obstacle Course Racer/Runner and CrossFit gym junkie.

Before I always felt like something was missing, my confidence was lacking and I was not comfortable in my own skin. I decided enough was enough; I needed to do what
made me happy.

Obstacle Course Racing is a such a big part of my life now, I’ve gone from doing my first Tough Mudder back in 2018 to completing in the last two years around 78 OCRS and running events. The big thing about OCRS for the is the community and support, it pushes you to push mentally and physically out on course. It becomes an addiction to collect all those headbands and medals every year.

I am currently training for Europe’s Toughest Mudder aiming for a minimum of 48 miles over the weekend raising money for Mind.

Fitness and OCRs has allowed my confidence to grow, I still have goals I want to achieve I have met so many fantastic and inspiring people. Earlier this year I qualified as a personal trainer to help give back that encouragement and inspiration others have given to me.
