Emma Brockwell

Emma Brockwell is a Specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapist. She loves nothing more than talking about vaginas, pelvic floors, tummies,pregnancy,  childbirth and exercise.  She set up and (until recently) led the women’s health department at London Bridge Hospital but now works  at The Halos Clinic in Oxted, Surrey. She is a very proud mummy to 5 year old Oscar, 3 year old Martha and stepmum to 9 year old Ruby.

Emma is passionate about postnatal recovery and believes that EVERY woman, post baby, should be seen and rehabilitated  by a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. Emma is a very keen runner and loves to help women return to the exercise they love. She leads a local running club, Oxted Ladies Run club which encourages women of all abilities to run or walk together on a weekly basis. She is currently developing ‘Return to Running Postnatal Guidelines ‘ with two fellow physiotherapists. The aim of these will be to help clinicians and Fit Pros working with postnatal women,  guide women back to running safely and effectively. Emma is also the co-founder of Pelvic Roar a physiotherapy led collaboration aiming to promoteand unite all things ‘pelvic health’.
