I’ve been mad about running my whole life. As a junior I ran track and cross country. I’ve since tried my “feet” at a variety of distances from 100m to marathon, over a variety of different terrains. But have discovered I’m happiest if my run comes after a swim. I’m a level 3 PT and LiRF – And have a wonderful group of people that I train down in Brighton. I lead a weekly walk fit session and C25km group in the local park – some of my C25km members actually competed in HM last year but they keep coming back so we remained the group – Runtastics. But we still follow a C25km style of session with faster and Slower intervals. I also lead a weekly group at the track for my local Athletics club. I’m very much looking forward to the return of Parkrun this summer as it’s my favourite time of the week and I recently became part of the core team at Hove Prom parkrun – where I’ve been a regular since 2017. I’m also excited to get back to racing myself and have lots of events booked this year – 5km, 10km and Aquathlons.
