Milly Pickles

In 2017, Milly Pickles’ life changed after a traumatic accident at the age of 20, resulting in a below-knee amputation. Determined to prove that adversity doesn’t define you, Milly now champions the belief that the only barrier to greatness is the mind.

Since then, she’s become a para-athlete, content creator, motivational speaker, presenter and built a running journey that continues to inspire thousands.

Milly has now run two marathons, completing the London Marathon twice and raising £15,000 for STAND (formerly Legs4Africa). She’s also taken on the Red Bull 400 twice, becoming the first amputee to ever complete it and recently earning a 7-minute personal best. She has hosted several lululemon run clubs and her content about running, resilience, and mindset has grown a community of more than 700,000 people.

Beyond running, Milly reported for Channel 4 at the Paris Paralympics, interviewing medalists and covering multiple sports. Her story has been featured in HELLO Magazine, Vogue, Women’s Health, and she has appeared on the cover of Enable Magazine. She was also nominated for Creator of the Year at the B-Creator Awards.

Her work has taken her to Capital FM, Kiss FM, the BAFTAs, the Glamour Awards, and even cycling the final leg of the Tour de France. She has collaborated with leading brands including lululemon, Reiss, Oakley, Samsung, and L’Oréal.

Across 2025/2026, Milly is writing her first book – the first time she has ever shared the full story of her accident and the mindset that transformed her life.
