Sophie Power

Sophie Power is a GB ultrarunner and mother of 3, most known for the viral picture of her breastfeeding her then 3 month old baby whilst running the 106 mile Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc.

In 2024 she broke the Guinness World Record becoming the fastest woman to run the length of Ireland, and in 2025 she broke the Guinness World Record for the furthest distance covered on a treadmill in 48 hours – live at the National Running Show.  She also was part of GB’s Gold medal winning team at the 2025 24 hour World Championships

Sophie is also the founder of SheRACES, a research and advocacy organisation which has driven positive change for women in events all over the world

She has just written her first book, “The Power Within” which is published in January 2026
