Georgia Hunter Bell is a Team GB track and field athlete and is an Olympic, World Championship, European Championship, and World Indoor Championships medallist.
Working full-time in cyber security up until last year, Hunter Bell competes at the top of the sport in 2025, winning two Diamond Leagues and the silver medal in the 800m at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
In 2024, Georgia won a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the 1500 metres, setting a new national record time. She also won the silver medal at the 2024 European Athletics Championships and became British national champion, indoors and outdoors, in the 1500 metres. Georgia then retained her national indoors title and won the UK national outdoors title over 800 metres in 2025, and won the silver medal at that distance at the 2025 World Championships.
A supremely talented middle distance runner as a junior, Hunter Bell decided to give up athletics after suffering a succession of injuries while studying at the University of California.
However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Hunter Bell returned to sport, taking part in parkrun and rediscovering her love of running.
