Run Show set to reunite running community this weekend

Runners from across the country will reunite this weekend (10-11 September 2021) after 20 long months apart at The National Running Show South, which is set to take place across two days this weekend at Farnborough International, Surrey. Set to welcome over 10,000 runners of all abilities, the event is the first South event from the award-winning National Running Show portfolio which attracts over 35,000 runners through its doors every year.

The Show will play host to a stellar lineup on the Inspiration Stage with names including Dame Kelly Holmes, Roger Black, Vassos Alexander, Nell McAndrew, Iwan Thomas and Anna McNuff and will be hosted by running royalty Jo Pavey and Danny Bent. After hearing the inspiring stories on the main stage,  visitors can attend informative sessions running throughout the two days on the Running Skills Theatre, hosted by Tashi Skervin-Clarke and Anna Harding, and will include sessions from some of the industry’s most experienced professionals covering themes including nutrition, hydration, training and mental health. For those who live in a world beyond 26.2 miles, the Ultra Zone Stage, hosted by Bad Boy Running, will give visitors the opportunity to hear from some of their long distance idols including Vic Izzy-Owens, James Poole and Sophie Power.

Jo Pavey, Olympian and National Running Show South Host commented: “After so long apart I am so excited to be a part of The National Running Show South. Being able to come together in an organised, safe and inspiring setting will be incredible and the lineup and opportunities for runners really is unparalleled. I will be at the event across the two days and can’t wait to meet runners both new and seasoned and really immerse myself in that community spirit once again.”
