National Running Show Elite Grants

The National Running Show's Elite Grant Scheme is open again, supporting elite athletes. This scheme provides financial assistance to help talented runners overcome barriers to reaching their full potential. The grant aims to support athletes in their pursuit of excellence and inspire the wider running community through their achievements.

The scheme is open to elite athletes who can put the funding towards specialist equipment, professional training and coaching, or travel costs to events. It also fosters the development of future talent and helps raise the profile of elite running across the UK.

The application window reopens on Thursday 30th July for six weeks. The shortlist will be announced on 17th September, with all applicants notified whether they've progressed. Shortlisted applications will then go to our independent judging panel, and the final outcome will be shared with shortlisted applicants on 1st October.

The National Running Show is now accepting applications for its Elite Grant – offering £1000 to £3,000 to support athletes who:

  • Are pursuining excellence at an elite level
  • Need support with specialist equipment, coaching or travel costs
  • Can inspire others through their achievements
