National Running Show Community Grants
The National Running Show Community Grant Scheme is open again, supporting grassroots running groups across the UK. This scheme provides financial assistance to help local clubs combat barriers to active participation in running. The grant aims to encourage inactive individuals to become more active, promote lasting sporting habits and develop positive attitudes towards running among young people.
The scheme is open to groups that actively promote physical activity, improve cardiovascular health, reduce stress and boost mental wellness. It also fosters social inclusion, develops future talent and cultivates a lifelong love for the sport.
The application window reopens on Thursday 30th July 2026 for six weeks. The shortlist will be announced on 17th September 2026, with all applicants notified whether they've progressed. Shortlisted applications will then go to our independent judging panel, and the final outcome will be shared with shortlisted applicants on 1st October 2026.
