25–26 Jan 2025 277 days to go! #RunShow

A Covid update from The National Running Show

With just two weeks to go until the fourth edition of the National Running Show Birmingham, runners from across the country are preparing to attend the country’s biggest running exhibition. Held at the NEC, Birmingham on 22-23 January the flagship running event is the biggest UK event of its kind and gives runners the perfect opportunity to get all the kit, tech, expertise and inspiration they need for their best year of running yet.

Ahead of the event, Event Director Nathalie Davies updates visitors on how the event will operate within the current Government guidelines. “Our mission remains to bring runners of all abilities together for the biggest community meet-up of the year.

“The National Running Show Birmingham will continue to go ahead on 22-23rd January at the NEC, Birmingham, with strong safety measures in place, following guidance from the All Secure Standard. All attendees will be required to show a Covid Status Certification on entry and masks will be mandatory (excluding hospitality and exercise areas). We have a thorough and detailed risk assessment which will ensure that the event is as safe as possible.

Nathalie continued: “Fortunately, the support we have received from our exhibitors, partners and visitors has been phenomenal. People crave face-to-face contact, our visitors love our shows and our exhibitors need our events to stimulate trade. We have over 50 speakers attending the event, including Lord Seb Coe, Jonnie Peacock MBE, Kadeena Cox, Scott Jurek and Jenni Falconer, plus over 250 brands including Up & Running, Hoka ONE ONE, Sports Tours International, Pulseroll, Decathlon, New Balance, adidas and Saucony. With over 20,000 runners expected over the two days it is set to be a great weekend in a safe and welcoming environment.

“Running is a force for good, combatting obesity, supporting mental health and raising countless millions for charity – and the National Running Show is a conduit for that – this event matters and we are hugely grateful to the running community for supporting us.”
