I discovered running through watching my mom and aunt take on incredibly huge running challenges in memory of my cousin. It was so aspirational watching them push themselves to their limits but it really hit home when I couldn’t even run 100m to keep up with them on the sidelines of their races.

They patiently over time helped me to build up my running (I say patiently as I was not the most easy client to have as I hated it so much at the start!) Over time they helped me believe in myself which transpired into my running and before I knew it I was able to run 5k!

My mom had always said to me once you can run 5k you can do anything and so I did. Since that first 5k, 4 years ago, I have done 5 marathons and 2 ultra marathons, following in the footsteps of my aunt and mom also raising for charities in memory of my cousin.

For the last 2 years I’ve attended The National Running Show and this year (2026), I actually ran over 30km from my home town into the centre of Birmingham as part of my training for Paris marathon and vlogged it, it was so much fun and ended in me falling face first on the travelator of course!
