I got into running four years ago to support my weight loss and improve my mental health and wellbeing. Since then, running has helped me find a better balance in life and introduced me to some wonderful friends and communities along the way.

My journey has taken me from running my first 5K to completing ultramarathons. I’m also an avid parkrunner and regularly visit different locations, becoming one of the few people to complete all 90 London parkruns as part of the LonDone Challenge.

I’m a proud member of Emancipated Run Crew, a community with diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything it does. For the past three years, I’ve also spoken alongside ERC on the England Athletics stand at the National Running Show, sharing my “Zero to Hero” journey from starting with 5K parkruns to completing the London Marathon within a year.

Giving back to the running community is incredibly important to me. I regularly volunteer to support and encourage others and have paced several major events, including the London Marathon, The Big Half, the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the Hackney Half.

I’m also a brand ambassador for Shokz and Protein Rebel, both of which will be exhibiting at the National Running Show alongside Emancipated Run Crew. I love documenting my running journey on social media, sharing regular stories and content to inspire others and celebrate the running community.
