Jog-on running shoe recyCling bins
JogOn – removing 1 million pairs of running shoes from landfill. It is estimated that over 30m pairs of running shoes end up in landfill every year. Running shoes may have lost their usefulness to runners, but the shoes are still perfectly useful and wearable.
Simply bring your old running shoes to a collection bin at The National Running Show or send your shoes direct to the JogOn HQ. Tie your running shoes together at the laces and make sure that they are tied tightly so that they do not come apart in transit.
What happens to the shoes:
We collect them and sort them, they are shipped to over 15 distribution points across Africa and South America. The shoes go to charities, NGOs and Disaster recovery zones when requests are made through charities.
