For 2027 only, the world's most famous marathon is going to two days, with 100,000 participants taking on the iconic Greenwich to Westminster route across Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April. It's a once-in-a-generation moment for running, and the running community will be right at the heart of it.
The double day will allow a record number of participants to take on a single marathon. This one-off format means double the training cycles, double the goals, and double the community moments.
