An update on our London show from Mike

Mike Seaman

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that we have made the decision to postpone the National Running Show in London to June 2021. Clearly in this current climate we need to put people’s safety first and we can’t in good conscience consider running a large exhibition in June. I know that this is disappointing news and it has been really hard for us to take both emotionally and financially, but we do believe it is the right thing to do in order to keep people safe.

However, whilst we can’t work on events for right now, we can work on events for next year and we have been doing some really cool stuff to make sure that 2021 is an awesome and exciting year for everyone.

  • Our next exhibition will be the National Running Show in Birmingham at the NEC on 30-31 January. We already have an amazing line-up of speakers confirmed including Jonnie Peacock, Lord Sebastian Coe, Lily Partridge, Iwan Thomas, Susie Chan and Lazarus Lake. You can view more about the event here: https://nationalrunningshow.com/birmingham
  • Following that we are delighted to announce a new event, the National Outdoor Expo, that will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on the 27th– 28th March. This is an incredibly exciting new concept and includes presentations from Ben Fogle, James Cracknell, Susie Chan, Russell Smith and Sean Conway. You can view more about the event here: https://nationaloutdoorexpo.com/
  • Finally, we are delighted to confirm that our London event will be moving to a new, much larger venue – National Running Show South will take place at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. The event will take place on the 5-6 June 2021 and includes presentations from Dame Kelly Holmes, Nell McAndrew, Jess Robinson, Danny Bent and Roger Black. A number of key brands have already confirmed that they will be joining the event including Runners Need, Aftershokx, Vibram, Hoka, 2XU, Yamatune, Runderwear, Pulseroll, Endure Stronger GU Energy, NOTCH, The Movement and Running School and BP3 Underwear. If you were one of the 12,000 people that booked a ticket for the National Running Show in London then we will offer you a free ticket to all three of these events in 2021. If you are one of these people, then you should have received an e-mail from us on Wednesday 15 April telling you what to do and how to register. If you are struggling to get through then please contact us at [email protected] and we will try to help. We are a small team so please bear with us if you don’t get an answer right away but we will get back to everyone that needs help.

You may have also seen our National Running Club newsletters which is a free newsletter we are sending out every few days. It contains lots of exciting content and cool products that we think you might find interesting! You can sign up here.

Thank you for supporting us through this difficult time and I hope you all keep safe and well. If you’d like to speak to me directly then please do e-mail [email protected] and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
