25–26 Jan 2025 277 days to go! #RunShow

Jenny Tough, Jenny Meadows, 3 new Exhibitors, and Run3D Gait Analysis!

It’s been a bumper month for the National Running Show! Just days after announcing a Partnership with Men’s Running and Women’s Running Magazines, we’re announcing a whole series of new features for the show, including speakers Jenny Tough and Jenny Meadows, exhibitors Incrediwear, Dartmoor Running Holidays, and TrueStart Coffee. We’re also very excited to announce that we have partnered with Run3D, our official Gait Analysis Sponsor for the 2018 Show!

Jenny Tough is a self-described adventurer, word traveller, writer, speaker, and film-maker! Raised in Canada amongst the beautiful Rocky Mountains, she has cycled, hiked, sailed, trekked, kayaked, skied, surfed, and camped across six continents. Jenny counts amongst her passions encouraging individuals to explore our incredible planet. She has also recently published her first book, “Keep the Sea to the Right“.

Jenny Meadows is an athlete known for her 800m races in several Championships, including the 2009 Berlin, 2010 Barcelona, 2010 Doha, and 2011 Paris race (in which she won Gold). She has also competing in 400m relays, also winning Gold in 2000 and 2001. Ranked as the 4th fastest woman in Britain over 800m, Jenny started out in athletics at aged 7, and recently announced her retirement after running in the Amsterdam European Athletics Championships Women’s 800m.

We’re also delighted to be joined by 3 new exhibitors at the show:

Incrediwear are a revolutionary range of therapeutic socks and supports that help with many different conditions, including diabetes, knee & back pain, sprains, carpal tunnel, muscle fatigue, tendonitis, cold feet, Plantar Fasciitis, and other ailments. Needless to say, they’re quite popular with recovering runners!

Everyone loves running, and everyone loves holidays, right? Then why not combine the two? Dartmoor Running Holidays welcomes runners of all abilities and confidence levels to enjoy the unspoilt serenity of Dartmoor. Their aim is to tailor packages to suit the individual so there really is something to offer everybody. Their breaks offer a unique opportunity, be it hitting training goals, inspiring motivation or a welcome break to those who share a love of the outdoors, good food and company.

TrueStart is the only coffee in the world designed for sport with the perfect caffeine boost every time and no crash. Founders Helena and Simon are really excited to be joining the National Running Show in its first year and will be keeping all runners perfectly caffeinated with their Performance Coffee shots and Hero caffeine bars. A top secret new addition to the range will also be available – what better way to kick off 2018!

Finally, we’re delighted to announce that our 2018 Show is being sponsored by Run3D, a series of clinics run by experts in gait analysis for injury prevention, detection, and performance improvement. Used by expert runners such as Jo Pavey, and endorsed by groups such as Women’s Running, GQ Magazine, and Technology Review, the Run3D system has been proven to help new and experienced runners improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury.

We’re also very excited to reveal that Run3D will be providing Gait Analysis at the National Running Show for all visitors!* The analysis will allow runners to gain a valuable insight into their bodies and how they run, helping them to improve performance.

* May not be available to all visitors if demand is very high! More information about availability will be announced closer to the event.

The National Running Show is the UK’s newest and most exciting running event, attracting thousands of runners looking to find the kit, advice and support needed to achieve their running goals. It is an event designed for runners and by runners but crucially it takes place at the start of the calendar year when most runners start training plans and deciding their race calendar. Visitors to the show will be able to hear inspirational talks from running experts and get free advice on nutrition, training and equipment. They can also see the latest products launches, get free trainer fitting and enter a range of exciting competitions.

The National Running Show is organised by Raccoon Events and takes place at the NEC on 20-21 January 2018. For more information, please contact [email protected] or call Madeleine on 0203 770 9303.
