The organisers of The National Running Show have confirmed that Ronhill, Hilly and Altra will be present in the Up & Running area at the event on Saturday 25th – Sunday 26th January 2020 at Birmingham’s NEC.

Up & Running is returning as Official Retail Partner for the show and this will be the second year that the specialist running retailer welcomes Ronhill, Hilly and Altra, following a highly successful event in 2019.

Specialist running clothing brand Ronhill is known for its highly breathable, lightweight and performance qualities. Created by legendary long-distance runner Dr Ron Hill MBE, the range of clothing is extremely popular among runners of all levels.

Ron Hill went on to found Hilly, a leading producer of professional running socks and race accessories. Visitors to The National Running Show will have access to the complete range of technical socks as well as high quality accessories including reflectives, hats, gloves, water carriers and more.

American footwear brand Altra returns to The National Running Show with its latest models of road running and trail running shoes. This innovative brand is known for its Zero Drop platform and wide toe box, which together encourage a natural and comfortable running position.

As the UK’s largest independent running exhibition, The National Running Show is committed to gathering the big names in running under one roof for the benefit of the running community. Other high-profile brands already confirmed in the Up & Running area include Saucony, Polar, On and Camelbak.

The National Running Show 2020 will benefit from a much larger floor space in order to welcome the biggest range yet of sports brands, retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers and communities. The show will also feature an exciting range of feature areas where visitors can find out more about specialist areas of interest, chat to those in the know and try out all kinds of kit and equipment. New interactive areas confirmed for 2020 include two Obstacle Course Race courses and an Ultra Zone hosting fireside chats with ultra-runners.

The National Running Show 2020 speakersOf particular excitement is the first-class speaker programme, which for 2020 includes British track star Sally Gunnell, Europe’s greatest ever 100m sprinter Linford Christie, ultramarathoner Dean Karnazes and 3-time Olympic medalist Kriss Akabusi. British long-distance runner Jo Pavey promises to be a highlight of the show as she targets a record sixth Olympic Games in Tokyo, and Susannah Gill will be talking about her world record running 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents. Endurance runner Susie Chan and Welsh 400m champion Iwan Thomas will be co-hosting the event.
