The National Running Show welcomes six further exhibitors

Six additional names will be joining the first-class line-up of exhibitors and partners at The National Running Show at Birmingham’s NEC on 20-21 January 2018.

The latest exhibitors to come on board are Aftershokz, Cannonball Events, Vitamin Coffee, Arbonne Nutrition & Wellness, English Half Marathon and Motiv Medals. They join an impressive gathering of high-profile race organisers, sports retailers, sports brands, nutrition experts, official sporting bodies and communities all ready to share their offering at this exciting and innovative new show for runners in the new year. Over 16,000 runners have registered for tickets to The National Running Show and it is set to be the event to attend for runners of all interests and abilities.

The first of the new exhibitors is Aftershokz, whose award-winning headphones use bone conduction technology to deliver stereophonic sound through the cheekbones to the inner ear. This means that their wearers can enjoy music whilst still hearing everything around them, such as traffic, warning noises and instructions from race marshals. Aftershokz is exclusively approved for use by UK Athletics and the British Triathlon Federation and promises to be popular with runners looking for a comfortable, healthy and safe listening experience.

Cannonball Events is the home of innovative running events in the north of England and Scotland. The company organises a wide range of endurance events whilst offering professional race timing and support services to other event organisers. Visitors to The National Running Show can learn more about their 100+ events, as well as the work they do in supporting charities and setting up corporate races.

For runners whose preferred hot drink is coffee, Vitamin Coffee is a highly interesting addition to the show. With just one cup of Vitamin Coffee containing an adult’s full daily dose of 14 essential vitamins and minerals, whilst still tasting great thanks to expertly roasted beans, the drink is a perfect way for coffee-loving runners to get more out of their cuppa.

Continuing on the nutrition theme, Arbonne Nutrition & Wellness specialises in creating nutrition products that support healthy living and optimal wellbeing. For over 35 years Arbonne has been transforming lives through pure, botanically-based ingredients, and helping people to make healthy lifestyle changes. Their vegan and gluten-free products include protein shakes, fibre boosts and detox teas.

The English Half Marathon is the latest event to join The National Running Show, as it looks forward to celebrating its 10th anniversary race on 16th September 2018. Taking place in Warrington, Cheshire, the English Half Marathon offers race medals to rival the crown jewels, a forgiving race route and a fantastic festival finish for runners. For visitors to the show looking to fill their 2018 race calendar, this is a great contender.

Motiv Medals completes the line-up of new exhibitors as a creator of unique medal concepts for events. Working with local running clubs through to mass participation events, Motiv Medals recognises that ‘race bling’ needs to be more than a piece of metal on a ribbon, and that the quality of the finisher’s medal can be an important deciding factor in entering an event.

Confirmed as partners and sponsors for The National Running Show are some of the UK’s most trusted running brands and communities, including UKRunChat, Run Mummy Run, Running Heroes, The Great Run Company, Race Solutions, Xtra Mile Events, Impact Marathon Series, White Star Running, Ealing Half Marathon, The Running Awards, Find a Race, Oofos, Up & Running, Scimitar, Sports Injury Fix, Racecheck, Vibram and Hoka One One, plus Cancer Research UK as Official Charity Partner.

Media partners for the show include Men’s Running, Women’s Running, Sports Insight Magazine and Athletics Weekly.

Dame Kelly Holmes will be opening The National Running Show and heading up a superb programme of speakers including Jo Pavey, Susie Chan, Sean Conway and ‘Barefoot Aleks’ Kashefi. The full speaker programme is available here.

Mike Seaman, Director of Raccoon Events, commented:It is with great pleasure that we welcome Aftershokz, Cannonball Events, Vitamin Coffee, Arbonne Nutrition & Wellness, English Half Marathon and Motiv Medals to The National Running Show in January. It is a fantastic new line-up for the show, with plenty to offer runners of varying abilities and interests. Together they cover key areas of events, technology, nutrition and accessories, and join hundreds more exhibitors which are equally relevant to the running community. It is fantastic to have such a strong line-up for our inaugural show and we can’t wait to host everyone under one roof for a fantastic celebration of running.”
