Dan is the Volunteer Impact and Engagement Manager for parkrun UK, overseeing all aspects of volunteering at the charity. Having been a keen but average runner throughout his adult life he started going to parkrun to catch up with friends in 2011. After moving to a new area in 2018 Dan began volunteering at his local parkrun as a way of engaging in the community. He has been regularly volunteering there since 2019, and helped to launch a junior parkrun in 2022. Dan is a passionate advocate of the health and wellbeing benefits of volunteering.
