Ivo Gormley

Ivo Gormley is the founder and Chief Executive of GoodGym – a social enterprise that combines exercise with social good. It has grown to be a movement of 20,000 people in 59 cities and boroughs. He is a 2020 winner of the Cambridge Social Innovation Prize. Previously Ivo led projects increasing public participation for Local Authorities and NHS Trusts.  He has advised on user participation for technology startups in UK and the US. He directed the film “Us Now”, a documentary about participatory culture which was broadcast by Channel 4 in the UK, translated into 24 languages and his film The Runners was watched by millions online. He has presented his work to governments worldwide including the French National Assembly, The Hague, the European Union, The Houses of Parliament (UK) and Washington DC.  Ivo is a Fellow of the Clore Social Leadership Programme, and was a founding Trustee of the charity Art Against Knives.
