John Clark is a former 2 x Britain’s Natural Strongest Man that 3 years ago tipped the scales at 185kgs bodyweight. After going on a weight loss journey to 100kgs; running became a passion, a curiosity, a test.
In July he embarked on becoming the first person to run a marathon a day in each of the counties of England to raise awareness of children living in food poverty in a project called the 48/48/48.
48 consecutive days of marathons were completed and over £41,000 of funding raised from the project that will go to support foodbanks and the Miles4Meals initiative.
Moving forwards John will take on the Marathon des Sables in March 2022, Ironman Bolton in July 2022 and then a change of focus to the Talisker Atlantic Crossing, rowing 3,000 miles across the ocean as a team of 4 in a continued quest to test the body and mind but to show anything is possible regardless of age, ability or size.
