Pritpal Kaur, 75 is living with blood cancer. Now in remission she did her first full marathon this year. After her first attempt in 2023 she had severe cramps so couldn't finish but was determined to come back, five months later she got blood cancer. She and her daughter and husband did it this year. She completed it and this was her dream. Pritpal also became a lockdown hero she baked cakes for covid heroes and she also got people hula hooping. She and her husband go into schools to teach children to skip and hula hoop. Pritpal is a record holder in that she was the oldest British Asian and Indian woman to do London Marathon at the age of 75 this year.
