The National Running Show 2019 welcomes Intersport, ASICS and New Balance

The organisers of the award-winning National Running Show have announced that Intersport, ASICS and New Balance will all be present at the 2019 event on 19th-20th January atBirmingham’s NEC.

The presence of such big brand names together under one roof is significant news for the running industry and for the many thousands of runners set to attend this innovative expo in the new year.

This will be the second staging of The National Running Show and the organisers are building on the success of the inaugural event in January 2018 to deliver an even bigger and better offering in 2019. They are certainly well on their way to fulfilling their promise of a greater range of sports brands, whilst also securing a first-class line-up of retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers, communities and expert speakers.

Intersport is a retailer of performance sports equipment and apparel with more than 270 associated retailers in the UK, and are a trusted source of expert advice to sports consumers across the nation. Intersport’s mission ‘Sport to the People’ recognises its customers’ passion for sport and the essential role that the community plays within sport and physical activity, and is a perfect fit for The National Running Show.

Alongside Intersport, the presence of ASICS and New Balance will be a huge draw for runners of all levels, offering an unrivalled choice of products and a wealth of expertise at the show.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the latest products from those top brands after a year which will have seen ASICS celebrating the 25th anniversary of its legendary Gel-Kayano shoe and New Balance as the official footwear and apparel provider for the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon.

The 2019 National Running Show will benefit from a much larger floor space than its debut event and a greater offering of interactive elements such as gait analysis, trainer fitting, nutrition and

injury advice, product launches, on-site competitions and more. British long-distance runner Paula Radcliffe MBE will be speaking on Sunday 20th January and opening day 2 of the show, and she will be joined by a stellar line-up of speakers guaranteed to thrill and inspire, including Jo Pavey MBE, Roger Black MBE and Iwan Thomas MBE.

The National Running Show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th January, 2019. Tickets are on sale on the website and cost £10 per person for the weekend.
