My names Kevin Dent and at the age of 39 I decided to get fit… so I booked a “dirty weekend ” yes the Rat race 20mile version… so I trained “not enough”, but soon became an advocate of running, as I found not only my physical health improving but my mental health was massively too, without me knowing I needed it.
I was hooked on a journey and over the past 6 years have been attending park runs, trail runs, fun runs but my calling was with obstacle course racing. I raced in the 2019 world final for team GB in my age group. I won the 2023 Europe’s toughest mudder 12hr night race age group and finished 6th overall. I’m now wanting to use the hobby to help others after recently becoming a mental health first aider and seeing the affects it can have..
