The National Running Show are proud to announce that we have partnered with Run Mummy Run, a very popular 30,000 member strong community built around female runners of all levels.
Run Mummy Run® was founded in 2012 by mum Leanne Davies, who found it hard to keep the momentum going with her running after having children. She created a small Facebook group for her and two running friends which grew in popularity, and in 2017 they estimate their online network to be 60,000 women strong. The community welcomes females of any ability to gain support, encouragement and motivation – being a mum is not obligatory. With an ethos based around kindness, Run Mummy Run is a place to find friendships, confidence and enjoy all the good that running brings. To join the nationwide community, go to www.runmummyrun.co.uk or www.facebook.com/groups/runmummyrun.
The National Running Show said:
“Partnering with Run Mummy Run is hugely exciting for us! We’re big fans of the group and their strongly positive force for support in the running community. There’s not a race or marathon that we visit where there aren’t a few dozen members of the group with t-shirts featuring the distinctive purple logo. We’re very much looking forward to inviting the group’s 30,000 members to our inaugural show in January 2018.”
The National Running Show is the UK’s newest and most exciting running event, attracting thousands of runners looking to find the kit, advice and support needed to achieve their running goals. It is an event designed for runners and by runners but crucially it takes place at the start of the calendar year when most runners start training plans and deciding their race calendar. Visitors to the show will be able to hear inspirational talks from running experts and get free advice on nutrition, training and equipment. They can also see the latest products launches, get free trainer fitting and enter a range of exciting competitions.
The National Running Show is organised by Raccoon Events and takes place at the NEC on 20-21 January 2018. For more information, please contact [email protected] or call Madeleine on 0203 770 9303.
