National Running Show announce Jo Pavey and Sean Conway as Speakers

The National Running Show is absolutely thrilled to announce two huge additions to our line-up for the January 2018 show – five-time Olympian and Gold Medal winner Jo Pavey and extreme endurance adventurer Sean Conway! We’re also delighted to have Swansea Half Marathon sign on as exhibitors!

Sean Conway is an adventurer and extreme endurance athlete. In 2015, Sean became the first and only person in history to complete the Great British Triathlon: cycling, swimming and then running the length of Britain from Land’s End to John O’Groats (the swim was considered impossible and had never been attempted). In 2016, Sean took on an even bigger challenge: a self-supported continuous Ultra Triathlon around the coast of Britain. We are thrilled to have Sean as a Speaker on Day 2 of the Show!

Jo Pavey is a five-time Olympian long-distance runner. After winning bronze in the European Cross Country Championships, she went on to win silver at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, silver at the 2012 Helsinki European Championships, bronze in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, and then gold at the 2014 Zurich European Championships in the 10,000m. We are truly delighted that Jo will be part of our Expert Panel on Day 1 of the Show!

The award winning JCP Swansea Half Marathon is Wales’ biggest summer half marathon. The fast, flat course is perfect for those experiencing their first half marathon or for those chasing PBs. Starting in the atmospheric heart of the City and with 6 miles of stunning coastline it’s easy to see why the JCP Swansea Half Marathon attracts 8000 runners.

The National Running Show is the UK’s newest and most exciting running event, attracting thousands of runners looking to find the kit, advice and support needed to achieve their running goals. It is an event designed for runners and by runners but crucially it takes place at the start of the calendar year when most runners start training plans and deciding their race calendar. Visitors to the show will be able to hear inspirational talks from running experts and get free advice on nutrition, training and equipment. They can also see the latest products launches, get free trainer fitting and enter a range of exciting competitions.

The National Running Show is organised by Raccoon Events and takes place at the NEC on 20-21 January 2018. For more information, please contact [email protected] or call Madeleine on 0203 770 9303.
