Run Mummy Run Kit

Outdoor cross-country running in early sunrise concept for exercising, fitness and healthy lifestyle

So after running a lot of half marathons this year, I actually worked it out the other day and realised that this year I have run 9 half marathons, two 10km and one 5k race this year. Having never done any races before February this year I have to say that I am a little bit impressed with myself.

Anyway……. the point of this post is to let all the lovely ladies out there in on a little secret, well not a very well kept secret as there are over 50,000 people who know about it. My secret is Run Mummy Run an online community for ladies who run and I am completely addicted, not only because they have an amazing community but also because they are getting more and more kit in their shop!

Over the last few months I have been gaining more and more kit, not just because I am running more but also because they have some of the best products that I have found. Back in July I reviewed their compression socks, which I absolutely love but which weren’t really getting along with my trainers at the time, I was getting more and more blisters from my trainers, so I decided that the way forwards was calf sleeves. It very quickly became clear that the RMR team had really done their homework and taken a lot of feedback from the ladies in their community to really product research the right compression for their sleeves.

Having now worn them I know that this is the case, they are incredibly comfy, yet at the same time they feel very supportive. I love the design and the link in to the rest of their kit, so if you are obsessed with colour matching this will play very well into your mind. They also don’t hold smell, now I am a sweater when I run, especially when I run, and these sleeves have come off of me a few times before I had to wash them because they had got to wet or were starting to smell. I cannot recommend them enough.

The other items that the lovely ladies do is technical kit, leggings, t-shirts, compression tops and jumpers coming out of your ears! They are all colour co-ordinated and again it is such lovely quality, I also find that the prices are really reasonable!

I am currently sat in the new technical shirt, and it is great. I have been wearing it all day, it is a great fit; fits lovely on the waistline, barley moves when you are moving around, the neckline sits really well on the top and it breathes when you need it to, keeps you warm the rest of the time. My running in the winter is going to be so much fun because of it. There is always a boost that comes from good fitting kit and I know that the Run Mummy Run kit definitely has my vote.

As for the next couple of weeks, I am going to be a Osterley Park 10k next weekend and I am definatley going to be wearing something from this kit range! If you are going to be there let me know, it would be great to meet you!
