The National Running Show welcomes AWOL Adventure and more exhibitors

The organisers of The National Running Show have confirmed that AWOL Adventure has confirmed its attendance as a partner, and seven further exhibitors have signed up to the inaugural show which takes place on 20-21 January at Birmingham’s NEC.

The latest names to come on board will join a first-class line-up of exhibitors, partners and sponsors all ready to thrill and inspire the UK’s running community at this innovative new show. Over 21,000 runners have registered for The National Running Show and it is set to be the event to attend for runners of all abilities and interests. Perfectly timed at the beginning of the year, it is an ideal opportunity for runners to meet all the big names in running and make their race, training, brand and nutrition choices for the year ahead.

AWOL Adventure is a photo sharing platform that provides a complete solution for taking, tagging and delivering event photos. Covering a great number of events across the country, AWOL Adventure is a fantastic resource for event organisers wanting to maximise their participant experience.

The latest exhibitors to join The National Running Show are Castle Run Series, Reaper OCR Events, Race Arches, Etchrock, Active Cover, RSPB and RAF. With a focus on events and charities, these new exhibitors will be of great interest to runners looking to enter high quality events as well as to event organisers wanting to maximise their race offering in 2018.

The new Castle Run Series will bring stunning off-road half marathons to the prestigious multi-sport festivals and iconic castles of the Castle Triathlon Series 2018. The spectator-friendly courses take runners through beautiful countryside and castle estates, passing lakes, castles and quaint villages along the way. Special show prices are available at the Castle Run Series stand.

Reaper OCR provides the complete mud ‘n’ obstacle experience with its exhilarating 10K and 5K races through, mud, water, obstacles, slides, jumps and more. Taking place day and night, the challenges are not for the faint-hearted but they guarantee maximum fun, a superb medal and a real sense of achievement at the end!

Staying within events and of interest to event organisers is Race Arches is a provider of awesome race inflatables for outdoor running events. From finish line gantries to seasonal inflatables and more, Race Arches offers the UK’s largest selection of hire arches.

Social ticketing platform Etchrock then brings a unique event management platform for event organisers who understand the power of community and engagement. Their software gives event organisers a bespoke solution for online ticketing whilst revolutionising the experience that they can provide to their customers.

Any runner will know the injury risk associated with running and it is here that Active Cover comes in, a provider of multi-sport insurance. Designed to support customers for both serious and minor sporting injuries, Active Cover provides financial support to aid recovery as well as a fresh approach with broad benefits to help runners be at the top of their game.

The country’s largest nature conservation charity, RSPB, is one of the final two exhibitors and a great inspiration for runners wishing to fundraise for a fantastic cause. Running for a charity like RSPB is a great way for participants can achieve personal milestones whilst raising vital funds to help nature and wildlife, and the team at RSPB will be on hand to help runners set new challenges and make a difference.

The RAF (Royal Air Force) also comes on board in the capacity of a charity, offering plenty of opportunity for runners to raise funds for the oldest independent air force in the world.
