Runner’s World joins official partners for The National Running Show 2019

The organisers of the award-winning National Running Show have announced that Runner’s World will join the line-up of official partners for the event on 19th-20th January at Birmingham’s NEC.

As the UK’s largest running magazine, providing practical information and encouragement for runners of all levels, Runner’s World comes on board as a Media Partner for this innovative expo dedicated to running. It joins existing Media Partners Athletics Weekly, the UK’s number one website, magazine and social media hub for road racing, track and field and cross country, and Sports Insight, the market-leading magazine dedicated to covering B2B sports, running, outdoor, cycling and lifestyle trade.

Already confirmed as Official Brand Partners for the 2019 event are Intersport, ASICS and New Balance, who are set to offer an unrivalled choice of products and a wealth of expertise at the show. It is a rare privilege to have such big brand names together under one roof and a bonus for the many thousands of runners set to attend the event in the new year.

Bespoke sportswear specialists Scimitar are the Official Clothing Partner for The National Running Show and they will be showcasing their technical kit used by top charities and running clubs across the country.

Deaf Hub will be returning as Official Sign Interpreters to the 2019 event, enabling access to the wider community for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people. They will be providing sign language interpreters for the presentations, accompanying deaf people to meet stallholders and assisting them at the various interactive elements of the show, such as gait analysis and massage.

Breathe Unity continues as Official PR Partner of The National Running Show, responsible for the PR and media whilst also developing further great relationships with brands and sponsors.

Other partners of note for The National Running Show 2019 include: #UKRunChat, the facilitator of chat about all things running; Run Mummy Run, the online network for women now exceeding 60,000 members; ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon, one of the flattest and fastest marathons in the world; Bad Boy Running Podcast, an innovative new podcast for runners; Brighton Marathon Weekend, host to the UK’s second largest marathon; the multi award-winning Ealing Half Marathon; Racecheck, the review platform for endurance sports events worldwide; This Dad Runs, a community for active dads; and White Star Running, an organiser of fun, social and great-value running events.

In addition to the strong partner line-up at The National Running Show is a first-class speaker programme which includes Paula Radcliffe MBE, Roger Black MBE, Iwan Thomas MBE, Jo Pavey MBE, Susie Chan, Ben Smith, Vassos Alexander and many more inspiring athletes and adventurers.

This will be the second staging of The National Running Show and it is once more set to be the event to attend for runners. The exhibition will feature major sports brands, retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers and communities, all of whom will gather under one roof to inform and inspire the UK’s running community.

The National Running Show was voted Best Consumer Show Launch at the AEO Excellence Awards 2018. It went on to win the award for Best Launch (Trade or Consumer) at the 2018 EN Indy Awards, where Mike Seaman also took home the award for Best Show Director.

Mike Seaman, Director of Raccoon Events, commented:We are thrilled to unveil our partners for The National Running Show and welcome Runner’s World to the 2019 event. We are very proud to be partnered with such respected names in running to deliver the UK’s best running exhibition for the second year.
