Linda began her running journey in 2018, driven by a desire to lead a healthier lifestyle and be present for her children. What started as a personal goal has evolved into a lifelong passion. Running has taken her to places she never imagined, introduced her to an incredible community and helped her to grow in confidence in all aspects of life.
Linda says: “I’m proud to be part of Black Girls Do Run UK, a movement dedicated to encouraging and inspiring more Black women to run. This community has been life changing, not just for me, but also for so many women who’ve found strength, sisterhood and self-belief through running.
Over the years, I’ve completed countless half marathons, full marathons and ultra distance events, including a challenging 100k. As a qualified run leader, I’m passionate about supporting others on their running journey, helping them unlock their potential and providing them with the support they need.
For me, running isn’t about speed; it’s about endurance, growth and the courage to keep going. My mission is to keep motivating others, increase diversity at grassroots level and continue pushing my own boundaries along the way.”
