Top Ten Most Inspiring Bad Boy Running Podcasts

Bad Boy Running Podcast launched in 2015 and is known for it’s light hearted take on all things running – your’e as likely to find them in the pub as you are on the trails.  Presented by David Hellard and Jody Raynsford with the occasional guest appearance from Allie Bailey when they are desperate, they have interviewed some of the greatest names in running from across the globe, and in doing so have created one of the most prolific, friendly and inclusive communities in the UK. Last year they launched the Bad Boy Running Club – an EA approved virtual running club that encourages people just to get outside, run occasionally and have fun. With almost 300 members they are one of the fastest growing virtual running clubs in the UK. They also present and sponsor the Ultra Zone at the National Running Show in Birmingham.

With over 200 episodes of the podcast available it can be hard to know where to start, so we (along with the Do-Badder community) have put together a top ten list of our most inspiring guests to help everyone get through the next few weeks.

“We just want people to really enjoy their running and the community that comes with it” says Allie. “We are really proud to have such a varied and engaged community. From record breaking ultrarunners to people that just want to volunteer at parkrun, BBR has bought thousands of people together virtually and in real life ad we are incredibly proud of that. In these times of social distancing, I feel like our community has really come into it’s own, supporting and encouraging each other – we even have a weekly virtual pub meet once a week on a Friday, which normal descends into chaos after five minutes, but provide a place for people to have a chat and a drink at the end of the week. Bad Boy Running is a place for runners that have never really found their place and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of it.”
