For 25 years, Paul Moseley has championed disability athletics in Leeds, breaking barriers and fostering inclusion. As founder of the wheelchair racing group at Leeds City AC, he has sourced specialist equipment, mentored coaches, and created opportunities for athletes of all abilities. His impact spans from grassroots participants to international athletes like Hannah Cockroft, whose achievements under Paul’s guidance include four world records, seven World Championship golds, and two Paralympic titles. Paul has also served as Team Manager, Team Coach, and Personal Coach at major competitions including the Manchester International, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, and Paralympic Games. His recent “Come & Try” event introduced wheelchair racing to a new generation, reflecting his tireless advocacy and passion for accessibility. Beyond Leeds, he has served as wheelchair race coordinator for the Dubai Marathon, supporting elite athletes such as Marcel Hug and Eden Rainbow-Cooper.
