Hi everyone! As you know, we launched the National Running Show exactly one month ago today and we thought we should let you know what we’ve been up to over the last few weeks! Despite the show not taking place until January 2018, we already have confirmed loads of awesome speakers and partners! Here’s a quick run down of what has been confirmed so far:
- Dame Kelly Holmes: multiple Olympic gold medalist and British record holder confirmed as our opening keynote
- Anna McNuff who ran the 2,000 mile length of New Zealand in 148 days will be sharing her experiences on the main stage. You can also meet her in our ask the experts area
- Danny Bent, officially voted one of the 100 happiest people in the UK, Guinness World Record holder, adventurer and community builder will be speaking and appearing throughout the show
- Elise Downing who ran a self supported lap of the British coast (5,000 miles) in 301 days is also speaking and appearing in our ask the experts area
- Celebrated running journalist Lisa Jackson, member of the 100 marathon club and last place finisher in 25 marathons talks on the main stage about how anyone can run
- Jamie McDonald, the man who ran 5,000 miles unsupported across Canada shares his latest adventure with you on the main stage
- The UKs largest social running community UKRunChat has joined us as the official Social Media Partner for the event
- Race Solutions, the company behind the astonishing 24 hour running event endure24 joins us as a race partner
- Blue Gizmo, the company behind the innovative Buddy Pouch have confirmed they will be exhibiting with us
