Intersport DW Sports, one of the UK’s leading high street sports stores, confirms it will be available to shoppers in the Intersport Zone at The National Running Show Birmingham in partnership with Children with Cancer UK on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January 2020.
Visitors to the show will be able to browse and purchase from an extensive range of products at Intersport DW Sports including sports footwear, apparel and accessories. Many runners will also be familiar with DW Fitness First, the fitness arm of the business and now the second largest operator of gyms in the UK providing expert training and top-class facilities. The combined business consists of 80 retail stores and 120 gyms where beginners through to serious athletes can find the products, the environment and the encouragement they need to be active.
Intersport DW Sports will also be offering the Kit & Collect service at the show, which is their brand new shopping experience allowing runners to order kit at the show and having it delivered to selected DW Fitness First gyms or to their home, without carrying bags around the show.
A number of high-profile brands have already been announced for the Intersport Zone at The National Running Show Birmingham and these include ASICS, New Balance and SafeSize. It has also been confirmed that AfterShokz and LED Lenser will be joining as further brands within the Intersport Zone.
AfterShokz will be bringing its range of bone conduction headphones and showing runners how they offer unrivalled situational awareness and comfort to deliver the ultimate open-ear listening experience. Led Lenser torches and head torches will complement the offering for runners in the Intersport Zone, with their world-class patented Advanced Focus System technology that focuses the beam from the high-spec LED(s) rather than scattering it for improved long distance light and a high light intensity.
Together, these top brands will have plenty to offer runners of all levels and interests, delivering an unrivalled choice of products and a wealth of expertise within the Intersport Zone. Official Sports Retailer Intersport will also be hosting a number of interactive feature areas including The Running Skills Theatre, Ask the Experts and Intersport All Terrain Running Zone, where runners can try out products, chat to the experts and learn how to improve their technique.
Further Feature Areas across the show include The Ultra Zone, Obstacle Course Race, The Trail Zone, 3D Gait Analysis, Steve Cram’s Training Camp, Nutrition Advice Zone, Sweat Test Zone, Treadmill Challenge and The Treatment Room.
The first-class Speaker Programme will welcome running greats including Sally Gunnell, Linford Christie, Dean Karnazes, Kriss Akabusi, Jo Pavey, Steve Cram, Susannah Gill, Jordan Wylie, Lazarus Lake, Camille Herron, Nicky Spinks, Mimi Anderson and Anna McNuff.
