Now entering its 4th year under professional running events company UK Run Events, On Shrewsbury Half Marathon is one of the most scenic half marathon events in the UK.
Taking place on Sunday 6th October 2019, the course takes runners through Shrewsbury’s historic city centre and out into the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The race is well known for its friendly atmosphere, first-class race village and incredible runner support, with a fantastic team of pacers helping runners to hit their targets on the day. Feedback each year is immensely positive and the 2019 event is set to be the biggest and best yet.
Swiss shoe brand On is headlining the event #ShrewsburyIsOn and will be supported by official retail partner Up & Running.
New for 2019 is a Family 1.1 Mile race, to encourage young runners to get active and experience the thrill of a big sporting event.
