Ben White from London is a keen runner and poet, whose passion for life comes from his want to inspire and give hope to others using his own personal experiences. Bullied at school for the way he ran, hurt yet undeterred, Ben has gone on to run 9 marathons, 7 of which were run back to back, in a self-organised challenge that saw Ben run 7 marathons in 7 countries in 7 days – in August 2025.
Once compelled by the competition running provided, Ben now finds himself in love with its simplicity, knowing that he doesn’t need a time, nor a place to feel a sense of belonging. He simply needs a pair of running shoes, to find himself, in the moments he feels lost.
Ben found himself to be the runner he knew he could be, and encourages those around him to not let others, determine their destiny.
