A keen ultra distance runner, Christopher is a former Special Forces Operator who served in hostile environments world wide often operating unsupported. He is using the skills and tools gained in the military to take on some of the most challenging rounds in the fell running world but is doing so unsupported.
Christopher will be joining us fresh from his record setting round of the 214 Wainwright fells in the Lake District, England where he completed the round in 11 days, 10 hours and 58 minutes, doing so solo and unsupported, carrying everything needed to get him round 540km, 95,000ft (that’s equivalent to climbing Mt Everest 4 times) and all with a 20kg pack.
Christopher is taking on the Marathon De Sables later this year and has plans for another record breaking unsupported round in 2022.
When he is not in the hills, Christopher is a charity fundraiser and speaker on Mindset and resilience.
