Dr Grant Trewartha is a keen runner and biomechanist at NURVV Ltd based in Twickenham and an Honorary Reader with the Department for Health at the University of Bath. He has spent the last 3.5 years immersed in considering the technical aspects of endurance running as he led the scientific input into a freshly launched wearable technology product for runners – NURVV Run. Prior to this he spent 16 years in an academic research and teaching role at University of Bath, leading significant research initiatives within injury prevention for rugby union and contributing to research focussed on the biomechanics of sprint running.
