Helen Gaunt

Helen Gaunt is an elite UK marathon runner, she qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and UK Athletics Running Coach specialising in Endurance back in 2020 and launched her own fitness business around her life in Kent as a mum of three. During the Covid-19 Pandemic she started a series of online strength and conditioning sessions for runners on YouTube which had a strong following and she is to roll out her online workouts as an app later this year. She has had success with her videos, attracting interest from Direct Line Group to produce a wellbeing workouts and deskercise video series. In 2020 Helen also launched her bespoke online run coaching service, providing unique weekly training plans and mentoring support for each individual athlete on her books. Helen coaches athletes of all abilities and ages and has helped a high number of these over the past few years to achieve PBs across distances ranging from 1500m to ultra marathon.

Helen is passionate about health and wellness and in guiding people to make 360 degree lifestyle improvements on their fitness journey. She has used her experience as a personal trainer to develop a detailed range of movement, biomechanics and postural assessment which she conducts both online and in person, using the findings to create bespoke, progressive strength, conditioning and stretching programmes for her athletes and PT clients. Her coaching business also offers a specialised nutrition service, guiding her clients to record a food, mood and activity diary, and then following up with recommendations and mentoring on optimising their diet, be it for weight management or optimising sports performance. As an athlete performing now at elite level in her 40s, Helen knows firsthand what it takes to get the most out of your body and sustain good health, sharing this passion and knowledge through her work. Helen combines her expertise, inspiring and helping people to get fitter, stronger and more energised and optimise their diet and lifestyle.
