Lissa Verhoeven

Lissa has a background in biomedical engineering and orthopaedic biomechanics. At university, she has led research on the influence of different conditions on the structure of tendons, including loading Achilles tendons during healing and the effect of cell communication on forming the tendon structure. Her interest in sports and biomechanics, technology and big data has led her to leading the biomechanical team at ARION. Lissa is, with her team, responsible for making the data meaningful, by performing experiments, combining data with research and building algorithms supported by AI
