25–26 Jan 2025 82 days to go! #RunShow Tickets

Lydia Oldham

I started my running journey like everyone on this planet in lockdown to get out of the house. Lockdown hit me with a lot of partying living in East London with DJs … we hit it hard and I started to run as more of a way to get out, I tried out 5kms and half marathons but quickly set my sights on a marathon and this year have completed a couple of ultras as well as The Speed Project solo…500km in 5 days (112hours) from LA to Las Vegas! I love to share everything from my failures to my wins, I want to show that everything is okay and there isn’t any right way to go about the journey as long as it makes you happy!

I started running to help my mental health and documenting the process as a way to keep myself accountable. Sharing the process felt like a natural progression, finding a passion outside of your natural confidence and security can bring creativity and spark back. I love challenging the norm when it comes to running, and showing you can push your limits, in out of the box ways. This year I got a place in the Berlin marathon and thought how can I make this … a bit more me! So I got up the morning of the marathon and ran it finish to start and then ran it start to finish with the crowds!

The beauty of running is finding like minded people and bonding over some crazy sh**t!
