Rose Broad is a Professor of Criminology at the University of Manchester and she is a runner and run leader for a local running group in Manchester. Rose has carried out research relating to gender-based abuse and exploitation for two decades. She has conducted research on the abuse of women runners with her colleague Dr Caroline Miles which has provided evidence informing the Jog On campaign and fed into Violence Against Women and Girls strategies.
