A reformed triathlete, having realised that running was his strength. Ran his first marathon in India in 2012 in 2:59. Since joining Hercules Wimbledon AC has improved across a range of distances, current marathon PB of 2:23 from London 2019. Winner Bournemouth Marathon 2018, 3rd Yorkshire Marathon 2019. Since dabbling with some ultra-distance FKTs (fastest known time) in 2020, tried his hand at official ultra races – winner of the 2021 South Downs Way 50 and Thames Path 100, setting a new UK trail 100 mile record of 13:43 in the process.
Enjoys trail, road, XC and track, competing both solo and part of teams and relays, mainly for Hercules Wimbledon.
