Shane Ohly is a former professional climber and elite mountain runner who has turned his lifelong passion for adventures in the mountains into a career through his business Ourea Events. Ourea Events are widely acknowledged as the gold standard operator, and they organise some of the UK’s most famous off road events including Salomon Skyline Scotland® and the Montane Dragon’s Back Race®. His fusion of mountain running, and free solo climbing have led to extraordinary personal achievements such as the recent Lake District Classic Rock record.
