I first started running when I was a teenager completing my first London Marathon when I was 18. I continued with running through my 20’s completing the London Marathon 3 more times, until a serious knee injury forced me to give up running for almost 6 years. As part of my rehab I took up long distance cycling in that time to strengthen my knee and get back to full fitness. I’m not sure 4 London to Brighton, and 2 Ride London 100’s were quite what my physio had in mind though.
Since resuming running again in 2018, at my local Parkrun, I haven’t looked back regularly taking part in 10k & half marathon events, and 2 more full marathons!
As well as being a keen long distance road runner I’m the British Sport Crossbow Champion, World Record Holder & World No.1. I’m also a scout leader, mental health first aider.
I love to inspire others to strive and achieve their goals through sport, and being active.
