At the start of 2020, Suzanne changed her lifestyle to help improve her mental health. Struggling for 19 years with anxiety and depression, her only hope of ever finding her ‘happy’ again was to make some drastic changes. Suzanne quit alcohol, went on a plant-based diet, started practicing meditation and mindfulness and took up running. When Suzanne spoke out candidly about her mental health battles and documented her changes, this resonated with so many, receiving an influx of messages. Suzanne now provides the ‘Shaw Happy Plan’, a wellness program that focuses on workouts, virtual runs, plant-based recipes and mindfulness chats, to her audience across her social media platforms.
