Organisers have announced the last remaining tickets are now available for the UK’s greatest celebration of running – The National Running Show 2026. In just a few weeks, the annual award-winning event kicks off the year ahead.
A home for runners of all abilities, The National Running Show will see over 30,000 attendees from the UK running community, in excess of 250 brands and a wide range of captivating speakers including elite runners, Olympians, TV stars, community leaders and notable industry voices converge at NEC Birmingham (31st January to 1st February).
Running in the UK has now reached record-breaking popularity, with a total of 8.5 million people running regularly. Increased participation has been driven by initiatives such as parkrun (2+ million registered users), a boom in social run clubs, and trail and ultra-running transitioning from niche to mainstream activities.
The National Running Show is a home for runners of all abilities; an inclusive environment designed to support and motivate every running enthusiast, irrespective of the point they have reached so far. Whether embarking on a Couch to 5k programme, enjoying parkrun regularly, a serial marathoner or an ultra-distance runner, the show has spaces and stages to satisfy every requirement and all ages.
Over 250 established and emerging brands featured at the show include Nike, adidas, Salomon, ON Running, Asics, Mizuno, COROS, SportsShoes.com and Science in Sport (SiS). Attendees will enjoy previews of the latest ranges and innovations in tech, nutrition, equipment and clothing.
Taking place over three stages and a variety of fun and educational spaces, the two-day agenda is packed with immersive experiences, specialist sessions, interactive activities and talks from elite runners, to celebrities and industry experts.
The Inspiration Stage sponsored by Great Run Company, SportsShoes.com and High5 is one of the show’s primary attractions, drawing large crowds with headline speakers and lively panel discussions. The Running Skills Theatre sponsored by The Running Channel hosts a mixture of expert talks, live podcasts, topical debates and informative sessions. The Ultra & Trail Stage sponsored by 13 Valleys Ultra boasts speakers from the world of trail and ultra as well as book signings, workshops, panels and the opportunity for fireside, intimate chats with your favourite runners and authors. Seating for each of the stages operates on a first-come-first served basis, with no need to book in advance.
An incredible speaker line-up for 2026 is a who’s who of running icons. Headliners Carl Lewis, Tom Evans, Laura Muir, Phily Bowden and Harry Judd are joined by a plethora of superstars across the weekend. Notable figures include: Dean Karnazes, Georgia Hunter Bell, Colin Jackson CBE, Milly Pickles, Jenni Falconer, Susie Chan, Sophie Power, Iwan Thomas MBE, Jason Fox, Aimee Fuller, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Jo Pavey, Roger Black and The Running Channel presenters.
